Versalift’s new V-Range to “close gap” in 3.5 tonne market
25 February 2026
Versalift is launching the V-Range; a new 3.5 tonne series, which the company says closes a gap in the European truck mounted aerial platform market. First sight of the new series will come at APEX, taking place in June this year.

The introduction from Versalift and France Elévateur, both part of the Time Manufacturing Company (TMC), provides a fully standardised 3.5 tonne series designed to meet the evolving needs of European rental companies, utilities, municipalities and telecom operators.
“It marks a strategically significant expansion of the European product portfolio, addressing one of the most persistent gaps in the market: the absence of high-quality, competitively priced solution in the light-duty vehicle class,” said Versalift.
The V-Range consists of seven fully standardised models, with working heights from 17m to 27m, all mounted on 3.5 tonne chassis. All models are designed to support daily use in demanding environments, from urban maintenance to utility and telecom operations and will be rolled out progressively throughout the year.
“Customers have been asking for reliable, cost-effective 3.5 tonne vehicle mounted access platforms”, says Uwe Strotmann, Chief Commercial Officer for TMC Europe. “V-Range is our answer – and a clear signal that Versalift intends to lead this segment.”
Common systems
The V-Range combines engineering experience of Versalift and Ruthmann, which is also part of the TMC group, with a strong focus on ease of use, reliability and fleet efficiency and will be sold under Versalift across Europe or France Elévateur in France.
All models offer the same standardised, XPC proportional control system, a standardised hydraulic architecture, one electrical system across all models and Real Time Connect as standard.

Learning how to use the XPC system once enables operators to use any vehicle within the range. “By consistently working with the same interface and control philosophy, operators reduce the risk of errors, improve daily productivity and build confidence more quickly — a significant advantage for mixed or high-utilisation fleets,” said the company.
The new range is built on a common hydraulic and electrical architecture. Fleet operators benefit from lower spare parts stock requirements, streamlined servicing and reduced technician training.
Each vehicle comes with Real Time Connect (RTC) - a web‑based telematics platform that enables real‑time remote monitoring, rapid fault detection, and efficient troubleshooting. It provides graphical machine data, sensor history, geolocation, and communication via phone or TeamViewer Pilot to accelerate problem resolution and reduce downtime. An expandable architecture and integrated black box further support maintenance planning and fleet availability.
“The V-Range has been engineered with a clear focus on competitive pricing and optimised total cost of ownership, making it particularly attractive for European rental fleets facing changing market requirements,” added the company.
The range
- The 17m working height V-170 is engineered for urban environments and restricted access areas.
- The V-200 offers 20m working height and combines strong outreach, generous payload capacity and optimised road handling.
- VA-200-F, an articulated boom lift with a versatile jib, provides maximum flexibility for a wide range of applications. It will be unveiled for the first time at APEX 2026, where visitors will be able to see the machine up close and discover how the V-Range supports efficient, time-critical operations in urban and infrastructure environments. The first deliveries of the VA-200-F will take place in 2026.
- The 23m V-230 strikes the balance between height and productivity, featuring extended reach within a streamlined, service-friendly architecture.
- The 27m V-270 telescopic model is built for demanding operations requiring maximum vertical performance and stability.
- The 25m V-250-F, equipped with a jib, combines direct telescopic reach with enhanced access flexibility, expanding operational possibilities on complex sites.
- The 24m VA-240 articulated model is built for more complex job sites, offering extended outreach and outstanding positioning capability for safe and controlled operation at height.
Serial production and first deliveries are planned depending on the model, gradually over the course of 2026, with prototypes to be showcased at major industry events across Europe.
